
I heard that if you get a tattoo that circles a body part (ie:wrist, arm, ankle) that it shouldn’t meet.?
Or rather be a complete unbroken tattoo, that it should remain untouching the begining. I heard this is part of Native American lore. What is the reason behind this?
I think it originated in the south seas islands, the culture there believed that if the tattoo (tatu) connected, it would not let your soul out of your body when you die.
As for straight lines……a QUALIFIED tattoo artist should be able to do it just fine! Hell they’ve been doing straight lines in tattooing for hundreds of years!!
