glass tattoo

I want a tattoo on my foot, but I have been told that it hurts really bad.?

One time I got cut on my foot by a piece of glass really deep and I didn’t even feel it. So if anyone with a tattoo on their foot can let me know does it really hurt as bad people say it does would really help because im thinking about getting one for my birthday in about 3 weeks. I want it to look like an anklet a with heart dangling from it on my foot with butterflies on side like 3 of then going up from big to small. I’ve already had someone draw it out for me and it’s really cute.

Any tattoo that’s done close to the bone will hurt more than those that aren’t, there are more nerve endings there. I have a tattoo on my ankle and but it was high enough not to be right on the bone. Obviously it’s not unbearable, a lot of people have tattoos on their foot. Notice that they are usually small, so the smaller it is the better, they won’t have to work on it as long. Also, make sure that you have shoes that won’t touch the tattoo because you’ll want it to air out and heal.
