Can anyone tell me the meaning of koi fish tattoo’s?
I know that with koi fish tattoo’s there are meanings behind all of it… I want to know the meanings.. I know that if its going up(like towards your head) it means will power and ability to take on obstacles and if its going down stream(like towards your feet) it means you overcame the obstacles etc..
What I would like to know is the meanings behind the different colors, The one I want is red and purple with water splashing around it…
I know it looks cool but I do not want to get this tattoo and it end up meaning something really messed up… I can change the color to meet what I want to say, and it would look just as cool.
Well, I looked on a few different sites and all of them say that the colors don’t mean anything, just your preferance. Except this little bit, but that doesn’t really help you lol.

Anyways, I would just go with the colors you like. I doubt you’re going to find many people that know all the meanings of all the colors to laugh at you if got getting something wrong. Besides, if you do end up having different meanings they’re all going to be something good, I doubt they’d make like red means you’re a cheater, pink means you’re gay, etc. etc.
I searched a few different things and couldn’t even find one website with meanings, so either there really ARE none or they’re not very well known.
