How long can I wait to clean a tattoo?

I just got a tattoo about 3 hours ago, and I haven’t had a chance to remove the bandage or clean it because I got called into work. Is this going to make it worse or get possibly infected? Will another couple of hours of it being bandaged, with the vaseline, hurt? Should I clean it here, using liquid soap and a paper towel? Thanks for the help!

You will be ok just try and let it breath as soon as you can and don’t put the bandage back on. When you can get some a and d or aquaphor and put it on for a couple days. After that use some fragrance free lotion on it to and it will turn out good.
